St Patrick's High School Keady

Last Friday the golfing boys and girls were blessed with glorious sunshine in their efforts to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer. There was an in-door inflatable in school and some excellent tuition provided by Mr Kevin Mc Givern the resident PGA Professional from Kellys Driving Range in Burren. This was also the first year that we were able to use the schools new putting green facility and this proved to be an outstanding success. The pupils raised over £1000 on the day and there was a special presentation to Ronan Mc Clelland who raised the most money and will be presented with a new golf club donated by Darren Clarke. Mr Mc Aleavey was also on hand to present a G 10 Ping Driver to Neil Mc Clelland who also raised a fantastic sum of money. The girls golf club were also presented with T Shirts and Tops for the upcoming year.
