Any school wishing to enter the league for 2011\2012 should now be sending money to Mr Gerry Morgan c\o Abbey Grammar or to Gerry Mc Stay c\o St Patrick's Keady and re-affirming contact names and details via the contact link on this website.Make the cheque for £40 payable to The Darren Clarke Schools Golf League.
Finals Day Changes for 2012.
This year we will be inviting the schools who raise the most money to Finals Day.
If teachers requires any breast cancer pins to help them with their fund raising efforts could they please email details to me ASAP.The Schools Golf League sponsored by Darren Clarke aims to encourage boys and girls to participate in the great game of golf.

This year schools in the league will again be fund-raising for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer Charity. Each participating school is asked to raise at least £100 and the pupils who raise the greatest amount of money will be given golf prizes. Last year this included rescue clubs, putters and autographed visors from Darren.

Schools from all over Northern Ireland, controlled and maintained, secondary and grammar have entered teams and regularly play matches against one another. Many new schools have joined for the 2011/12 season, take a look at the list of all the schools in the league. There are eleven sections in the league, schools play one another with the winners of each section progressing to the semi-finals. Pupils playing in the league also receive regular coaching throughout the league season.

The league is very grateful to the various golf clubs who actively help in the continued growth of juvenile golf in the area and thanks the Captains, Councils and Members of Warrenpoint, Armagh, Banbridge,Ardglass,Downpatrick,Dungannon,Kilkeel, Loughgall, Ashfield, Mayobridge, Ballycastle,Strabane, Killymoon, Lisburn, Hilton Templepatrick and Royal County Down for their support.
